Lisbon Youth - December 4

We will meet at Living Hope this week!

FOOD: Pulled Pork (Smoked by Doug... Yum), with sides and sweets (not sure exactly what but it will be good).

FUN: A quick game of Digit Fidget and then we will help decorate Living Hope for Christmas (thanks to all who helped at Uncommon on Saturday 11/30).

FAITH: We will pause our study of the Gospel of John to focus on Advent.

Advent is a four-week Christian season of preparation, celebration, and waiting; preparation for Christmas, celebration of Jesus' birth, and waiting for the second coming of Jesus. "Advent" comes from the Latin word ad-venire, which means "to come to" and focuses on four themes; Hope, Love, Peace, and Joy. Over the next four weeks we will focus on those four themes.
