Another Wonderful Wednesday - October 30, 2024
Food: This week, we have a fan favorite -- Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with Garlic Bread and Cookies or Brownies.
Fun: Get ready for some friendly head-to-head competition. Four teams will engage in Bottle Grab, Cup Top Shot, Ping Pong Tic-Tak-Toe, and Precise Pour. Points will be awarded each round. The team with the most points gets bragging rights for the week.
Faith: Is your student tracking with our Gospel of John Reading Plan? You can download it and encourage them to jump in. We are reading chapters 9-11 this week, but we will discuss John chapter 6, the Feeding of the 5000! Have your student read chapters 6-8 before you come. In this lesson, we learn that Jesus satisfies our spiritual hunger. Every human being feels this internal spiritual hunger. It triggers our most profound questions of who I am, where I belong, and my purpose. Jesus has answers to these questions that satisfy our souls.
