The following two Wednesdays (10/9 & 10/16) are full of activities good for our hearts and community.
This week, we're all buzzing with excitement as we kick off the highly anticipated Homecoming week at Lisbon School. The school spirit has been building up since the start of the week, and it's only Tuesday. Tomorrow is set to be a day filled with thrill and fun, featuring the class color challenge, the homecoming parade, and the powder puff games. We're thrilled to invite you to join us in cheering on your class at the parade. Please note that in a show of solidarity with the students, the youth group is canceled tomorrow (10/9).

 

Looking ahead, we have another wonderful community event. Fields of Faith, hosted by FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), is a gathering of student-athletes in community sports environments. It's a time to come together, challenge each other to read the Bible daily, and strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. FCA is excited to host Fields of Faith at Cornell College.

Our students at the Lisbon FCA Club are eagerly anticipating the chance to share more about Jesus with their friends. The Lisbon FCA Club meets every Wednesday morning at 7am in the School Library. We extend an open invitation to students in grades 6-12 to join us at FCA on Wednesday mornings and at Fields of Faith on Wednesday, October 16th. The youth group will be meeting at the event, and we hope your students will be able to join us for this unique opportunity to learn more about Jesus.
